I grew up in a very poor neighborhood so it's safe to say that financial literacy was not something that was taught in my home. My mother was a stay at home parent and my father worked for every penny he made.

From an early age I was taught to save, save, save. I was never taught how to budget, avoid debt, save or invest. This led me to make very bad financial decisions growing up.

In 2020 when Covid hit hard, I started to take a deep dive into my finances and realized that I needed to start getting my finances in order, otherwise I would be forced to live with my son at my old age. The problem was that I did not know how to do it.

I started reading financial literacy books and began to understand how the interest on my debt was working against me and preventing me from building the wealth I truly desired to achieve. I took what I learn and put it into practice. I was able to payoff over $100,000.00 in debt in two years!

I created this workbook to help ordinary folks on their own financial freedom to understand their debt, how it works against them, create a complete financial debt pay off plan and to track that plan.
